John up on his 5.8m PPC and said it was a beast. I got up on foil a few times but not enough speed to keep going, still struggle with transition to going in light winds. One good ride in and found needed weight further back in such light winds. Wind dropped to less than 5 knots and a long drift back in. Getting better at pumping up but need to master transition to settling in to foil. 100th day wind/kite/winging, with such a light wind summer I wondered if I'ld hit the 100 this year. |
